       One evening he decided to go to an expensive restaurant. When he got in, he suddenly saw Tom, a
friend of his. They hadn't seen each other since they left school. George went up to Tom and said politely
to him, "Hello, Tom. Nice to see you here. How's your business?"
       "Oh, George,"  answered  Tom, " It's  not  good at all. "
       George looked in surprise at the expensive food and drinks on Tom's table and said, "It certainly
doesn't look like what you said. "
       "Well," Tom answered sadly, "I'm afraid you're wrong. A few years ago, I was doing well, and I often
brought my wife to this place for dinner. But now I can come only by myself."
