比较级的程度修饰语
考点精讲
    能够修饰比较级的程度副词有much，very much，a lot，a
great deal，even。still。far，a bit。a little，rather，any，这些词后面也
必须接比较级形容词、副词。例如：
    English is not difficult but Chinese is even easier．英语不
难但语文更容易。
  Don't you think this problem is a great deal more difficult
than that one?难道你不认为这道题比那道题难得多吗?
    There are many more doctors in this hospital than in that
one．这个医院里的医生比那个医院里多得多。
    You have a b．1 more money than she．你比她的钱多一
点儿。
    Today is rather hotter than yesterday．今天比昨天热得多。
    lMy brother is good al sports．He can jump——

   析B than暗示该空应用比较级，可由程度副词much
修饰。
    回I can type——than I can write by hand．(宁夏回

     析B than暗示该空必须使用比较级，其前可甩程度副词
much修饰。
  回一You speak English much——than before．

   析B much后面必须修饰比较级形容词、副词。

   析 B are proud 0f与even之间的语境逻辑制约该空表
示“更好”，因此应填better。

    C．rather bad    D．even worse
     析D分析语境逻辑可知，该空表示“甚至更糟糕”。因此
应填even worse。
    回一HOW are you feelling now?
    ——Oh，terrible．  rm feeIing even——than yesterday．
    A．bad    B．worse
    C．worst    D．better
     析B语境逻辑暗示该空表示“更糟糕”。应填worse。
易混点
    (1)具体数词、抽象数词、半数、分数、百分数也可作比较级程
度修饰语。例如：
    This river is three meters Ionger than that one．这条河比那
条河长三米。
  I'm a head taller than she．我比她高一头。
    Is this string half longer than that one?这根绳子比那根绳
子长一半吗?
    This lake is one-third longer than that one．这条湖比那条
湖长三分之一。
    He has thirty percent more money than she．他的钱比她多
百分之三十。
    (2)有时修饰比较级的程度副词可放在句子末尾，用by来
连接。例如：
    They have produced more cotton this year than they did in
 2000 by twenty percent．他们今年生产的棉花比2000年多百分
之二十。
    I'm taller than her by twenty centimeters．我比她高二十
公分。

  1The population 0f this country．s four-fifths——
than that 0f that country．
    A．many    B．1arge
    C．much    D．Iarger
     析D four-fifths为分数，应修饰比较级。
    2This mountainis higher than that one——one．
third．

     析  D分析语境逻辑可知．该空表示增长幅度，应填by。
