      随着“中国热”在世界的兴起,学术界对中国研究也给予了越来越多的关注。然而,在众多研究中国问题的英文学术著作中,由中国学者撰写的中国教育体制和改革的专著却寥寥无几,为数不多的几本也大都是关于中国教育体制的宏观介绍,缺乏深入系统的分析中国教育体制和改革的英文学术力作,这对于国际学术界更好的了解中国教育改革和发展无疑是一件憾事,也使得中国教育学者们在国际教育界常常出于一种“失声”的状态。基于此,本书试图以教育政策分析为切入点,采用西方学术界熟悉的批判性话语分析范式,力图勾勒出中国教育改革和发展的一幅完整、深刻的图景。
