　　《树梢上的中国（英）》以散文的文学方式讲述“人与树”的故事，作者寻遍散布于中国各地的古树，耗时多年，从文化的角度，讲述古树与人、与村落的历史故事，每一棵古树就是一部绿色的史书。作者运用过去没有人用过的视角，重现解读环保、解读生态，把森林保护上升到人文层面。书中还展现了十几幅作者为古树亲绘的画作，是非常宝贵的资料。这是作者独有的保存历史、留住文化、留住乡愁的表达方式。
