Lots of families in Great Britain have one or more pets. Dogs are the favorite pets and there are about 6,000,000 0f them in Britain. The second favorite are cats (about 5,000,000) and the third favorite is a kind of bird - the budgie  (虎皮鹦鹉). Some families do not keep cats or dogs. They keep other animals as pets in their homes.
