主语从句

① …… is certain.（主句省去something）

②That we shall be late.（从句加上引导词that，that在此并无实意！）

①That we shall be late is certain.

宾语从句

①she has got something.

②what did she want?

合并的准备

①she has got ……（省略something）

②what she wanted.（疑问变陈述）

合并

① She has got what she wanted.

她得到了她过去想要的。

补语位置（传统语法的表语从句）

①My question is something.

②Did he leave?

合并前的准备

①My question is ……（省略）

②whether he left （or not）（疑问变陈述）

合并

①My question is whether he left（or not）.

同位语从句

（同位语就是形容词从句省略后的产物，找个时间讲！）

①The question has not been settled.

②Who should be the first?
