When my brother and I returned home from school the other day, my mother and my sister were waiting for us there. I could see by their faces that they were really excited about something. But I could not guess what it was. Then they told us my father had rung from the office to say that there was a tennis match in town and that he would take us all there as soon as he finished work. "Isn't that a surprise?" said my mother. "We don't have to cook the dinner now. Your father says that we can have a meal when we get there."      "That's a good idea!" said my brother. Then we began to tell each other to hurry up and get ready.
