Mrs Brown has a small garden behind her house, and in the spring (春天) she plants some vegetables in it. She looks after them carefully, and when the summer comes, they look very nice. One evening Mrs Brown looks at her vegetables and says, "I'm going get them in and we can eat them." But just at that time her son runs into the room and says, "Mother! Our neighbor's ducks are in the garden and they are eating our vegetables." Mrs Brown runs out. But it is too late. Mrs Brown is very sad, and her neighbor is very sorry. Then a few days before Christmas, the neighbor brings Mrs Brown a parcel (包裹). In it there is a beautiful fat duck and a piece of paper with the words, "Enjoy your vegetables."
